California Colleges – College Search Tool
CSU, UC and other colleges and universities will begin accepting applications on October 1. Seniors will begin the college application season by attending a Fresno City College application workshop and college info presentation this week. Students will be signing up for CSU & UC application workshops in the next weeks.

Q3 Driver’s Education Online Class Registration opens Weds. Jan. 18

Community College Online Orientation Open Now
All students attending Fresno City College, Clovis Community College, Reedley College, or Madera College need to complete Online Orientations. On December 2, all seniors were invited to attend the Online Orientation workshop. If you did not complete your Online Orientation you need to do so asap. The date of Orientation completion will determine your registration date/time for classes.
If you need assistance, use the directions below, contact your counselor or come in at lunch to the counseling office and someone can assist you.
Work Permits over Winter Break
Students who are in need of a work permit during Winter break can get their permit processed at the College and Career Readiness (CCR) Office, 4120 N. First St. Fresno (93726). The CCR Office will process and issue work permits on the following dates:
December 19- December 22: 9:00 am-3:00 pm
December 27- December 30: 9:00 am-3:00 pm
January 3-January 6 9:00 am-3:00 pm
The office will be closed on Dec. 23, 24, 25, 26 & Jan. 2.
HBCU College App Information Meeting 12/9
On Friday, December 9, we will be having an informational meeting about Historically Black Colleges/Universities (HBCU) and how to apply to 65 of those schools FOR FREE!!!!! This meeting will be in the library and LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED.

Driver’s Ed Quarter 2 starts Oct. 11
FUSD will offer Online Driver’s Education courses each quarter of the
2022-23 school year and the Quarter 2 class starts on Oct 11.

Classes will be taught 30 minutes a day on Teams and students can choose the time of day they prefer. Students can sign up for FUSD Driver’s Education using the link bit.ly/FUSDdrivers22 and the link is currently open for registration.
Classes fill up, so we encourage your student to sign up as soon as possible. For more details about the Driver’s Education courses please see the attached flyer:
2022-23 Senior Class Handbook
Senior Handbooks were distributed in the Senior Gov Econ classes this week. Make-up sessions will be held on 9/6. Seniors worked on creating FSA IDs and completed a senior survey. If you still need to complete the survey go to bit.ly/fall22bhssenior.

Students will be notified of enrollment status via Teams by the Drivers Ed teacher on Friday, September 2, 2022. Classes start on September 6, 2022
- The First Day of Class is Monday, September 6 (Session: 9/06/22 thru 9/30/22)
- Free to all students — No Materials Needed – Teacher will provide all resources
- Course Completion: Students receive
DMV Certificate of Completion of Driver Education - DMV Certificates will be distributed by your high school
All Classes are Teacher-Led Instruction w/Guest Speakers
Students will be notified of enrollment status via Teams by the Driver’s Ed teacher Cheryl Flemming.
